Calf Born at CM Residence: At the Chief Minister’s residence, Oak Over in Shimla, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and his wife, MLA Kamlesh Thakur, welcomed a new ‘family member.’ This new addition is none other than a newborn calf, born recently to a cow raised at Oak Over.

Marking the occasion as an auspicious sign, Chief Minister Sukhu and his wife emphasized that cow service is an integral part of Indian culture. They highlighted the need to promote animal husbandry and cattle rearing. While affectionately caressing the calf, the Chief Minister stated that animal husbandry is the backbone of the rural economy, and the government is committed to strengthening this sector.

It is noteworthy that several cows are already being nurtured at the cowshed in Oak Over. The Chief Minister and his wife have always been sensitive toward animal husbandry and are dedicated to its conservation and promotion.
